Global Warming Cover Contest: Runner-Up #11
By Dashiell Kirk
By using iconic American imagery, the artist places global warming squarely within this country’s historical narrative - and it is. The original painting is all about boldly taking on an unsurmountable challenge, but, frankly, this version is a good depiction of many people’s attitudes in the face of the crisis.
